What's The True Meaning of Wealth?

Although the five of us have been ambitiously building our financial wealth for years now, we recognize that money isn't everything.  It's not so much the cash that we want as the feeling of meaning and purpose in our lives.  The knowledge that we're contributing to something bigger than ourselves and doing it in a fun, ethical, revved-up-to-get-going-in-the-morning kind of way!

• Now Kelly and her husband can walk on the beach right outside their house every morning before breakfast.
• Steve can teach his daughter and her friends personal finance and help them start their own businesses.
• Rob can be home with his 4 children whom he and his wife home school.
• Roger and Becky enjoy traveling, golfing, heli-skiing, and supporting a number of charitable causes with time and money.
• Emily and hubby Ben now live near family in Seattle and are starting their family while Emily expands her real estate consulting business.

Who are the team members and what has made them successful?

Through years of sacrifice, we learned that we didn't want the money without the lifestyle.  And we didn't want to do everything "on our own" - that hardworking lone ranger path that so many entrepreneurs encounter.  Roger consistently reminds us about the power of networking connections and having a great team.  We've learned about our "Kolbe scores" and working in our "Unique Abilities."  We've raised millions of dollars so we can own property with private investors in our network.  We've made friends, shared ideas, been inspired, and learned - all thanks to the brilliance of the people around us with whom we are lucky to be associated.

How do we know our methods will work for you?

The fact is that it's hard to "teach" a one-size-fits-all program for creating wealth.  Many mentors and gurus out there have wonderful programs to teach the "how-to" of specific wealth-building techniques... everything from how to buy apartment buildings to investing in single family homes, balancing your budget, investing in the stock market, or starting your own successful business.  In fact, we even have a few programs like this ourselves and have worked one-on-one with many different people who are taking steps to implement such programs.

However, how can we account for the fact that so many of the people who try these programs do not see the results from them that they expect?

There are the obvious answers like "It wasn't a good program," "The techniques are outdated," "I didn't have the time and money to implement the ideas."  And, the even more telling... "I didn't believe the system would work for me, so after a while, I stopped doing it."

In our experience, there is a lot you can learn from the how-to programs out there, but without the ongoing support of people in the trenches doing it, it can be a hard and lonely place.

It is challenging to find a program that really meets your needs... so many people are pitching courses with the idea that "all you have to do is buy my program, and the hard part is behind you," that many people are not prepared for the investment of time, money and EMOTION that comes as they implement the program.  Unrealistic expectations going in can be very detrimental to your long term success.

Other people invest in programs or start businesses that are not a good match with their skills and natural abilities.  They do not enjoy their business because it is set up to force them into doing tasks which are hard, uncomfortable, and challenging for them, and they just get burned out.

The purpose of this website, and the inexpensive (yet extremely valuable) membership program it supports, is to help create a community of wealth-builders who are serious, dedicated and willing to put in the work to be successful and who are also willing to give back, help each other and share the best of the best ideas.
